:)Hi everyone thought I might as well start this post off  wink

I know it sounds as though it is just for us girls but you men can also join in by telling us what sort of aftershave you like.  Is it Designer Label Names or something quite ordinary but what you like.  What does your wife/partner/girlfriend think to the smell of it?

For us ladies - what sort of Perfume do you like?  Personally I have two or three favourites.  My No.1 is Coco Chanel - quite expensive but I do get a few bottles for birthdays or xmas from relatives. No.2 is Pure Poison by Dior and I also like to purchase the Body Lotion in the same fragrance.  No.3 is Aromatics Elixir by Clinique and again like to the purchase the Body Lotion.  No.4 is Miracle by Lancome.  I don't really wear anymore.

Jewellry I like - well I like Silver but I like it to be quite chunky - I don't wear much gold cos I don't think it really suits me.  I also love what I call - fashion Jewellry - which is quite cheap and cheerful and I can buy lots of it.  All in different styles and colours to match something that I am wearing and when I get fed up with it - it doesn't matter.  I love 'chokers' best but wear lots of different stuff too.  I also like chunky bracelets and different watches.  I don't spend a fortune though.  Diamonds - yes would love loads of them but can't afford them apart from in two or three rings which I have! Also my ears are pierced and always wear earrings - again usually something that matches the necklace I am wearing. smiley

Accessories - well I am mad on shoes and handbags - all different styles and colours and like them to match. i.e. if I wear white shoes I like to have a white handbag etc. I must have about 50 pairs of shoes and loads and loads of handbags.

Look forward to hearing what everyone else likes in regards to the above  ;D

Thanks for that interesting question Denise smiley,

Well I like changing perfumes I use, sometimes I even buy men's perfumes for me cos as a smoker (haven't given up that bad habit yet)
I think they better stand against cigarette smell  smiley but I have few favourite brands, I find most of Dior's and Givenchy's perfumes great,
these two would be my choice: Dune by Dior, Givenchy - Amarige (I adore jessamine fragrance smiley)

Jewelry - I used to wear lots of silver rings, bracelets at my younger age but now I'm stick to gold jewelry,
have several favourite earrings and rings and that's all smiley

Accessories - I'm keen on shoes too, would spend a fortune on branded shoes if I like them and if they fit my feet smiley
I also like combining them with different handbags by colour and style but in generally I prefer more simple even sporty style smiley

:)I like Dune as well Deco. I thought you had 'kicked the habit'? Deco - obviously your a little like me then cos I don't think I could kick it.  Especially if I ever feel a little stressed - I always turn to the ciggies and a glass of wine.  Mind you I don't need to feel stressed and I still have the ciggies and a glass of wine  ;D  When you say about the designer shoes fitting you - why do you say that?  You haven't got big feet have you  wink

Unfortunately I hadn't given up smoking :( I had decreased the number of cigarettes to 5-10 per day but before to realize I started smoking again 20 per day :(
Think the main problem is that I drink a lot of black coffee and ciggies go very well with it  ;D

As for the shoes I said that because some of the good-looking designer's shoes are quite uncomfortable Undecided  I'm UK size 4 which I think isn't a big size smiley

Perfumes - I love Pleasures by Estee Lauder. Really fresh.

Jewelry - I love pearls, but can't possibly afford $1500+ for a simple necklace.  CryBaby

Hi Natalie SmileyinBox - Glad to meet you and welcome to the forum - hope you enjoy it here.  As you may realise it is a new forum for us all to have a good old chat about all sorts of things - have you any friends you would like to bring along with you.  The more the merrier  Cheesy

Mmmmm I love pearls too but alas I have only been able to afford the 'fashion' ones  BangHead BangHead

Mmmmm I've smelt pleasures by Estee Lauder I think this is one of their really nice ones too  smiley

I know what you mean Deco - I don't think anyone can 'cut down' and where you have your coffee I have my wine.  Mind you I just smoke full stop - it's a good job they haven't stopped smoking too much here in Spain.

Dublin - you can't smoke in any bars or restaurants or anywhere !!  Although they have made special areas 'outside' but undercover - although you can sometimes get a little cold and wet  BangHead BangHead

Do Spaniard smoke a lot? I've heard they do. Wink
Think it's a nuisance if you go to a bar to drink something and can't smoke few ciggies it spoils your stay in there  Violent5  Angry2

3some a girl after my own heart Deco - I think exactly the same - I mean that's what we call 'socialising' isn't it.  A good old chat, a glass or two and a ciggie  wink

Nearly all the spaniards smoke from the teenagers to the grannies and grandads.

What they did though is that most of the bars, cafes, restaurants had a choice - if their bars, cafes etc were under a certain meterage they could choose whether to have smoking or not and most of them chose smoking and the few that chose non-smoking have now changed to smoking cos they weren't getting anybody in them  BangHead  And the larger restaurants - you can't smoke in the restaurant but you can in the bar.  But most of the bars, cafes, eating places here in Spain are not that big anyway - so really you can smoke in most of them  Wink

They say in England by 2007 you won't be able to smoke anywhere apart from your own home.  I don't think I would go anywhere then  Tongue1

completely intelligibly, then all have to make just home parties grin guess who loses more  Bootyshake
I really don't catch what a policy is this huh, if they think it will prevent smoking then they are obviously wrong  Sign12
it isn't something you can do only because something has told you have to do Tongue1
think there are many more important things in our world that are more terrible than smoking

Wink Wink Here Here Deco - first of all you only have to go walking in Britain - you think you get fresh air - wrong  Sign12 you get blooming pollution from everything - factories with all the smoke gushing out - car fumes etc etc I would say is much worse than 'passive' smoking.  You eat every day - is it fresh food - wrong  Sign12 even the stuff that is grown in the ground in England is all 'sprayed' with pesticides etc etc.

Who do they say live the longest - or one of the longest - is the Spaniards - why?  They smoke like troopers but still live longer - why? cos they do actually eat fresh fruit and vegetables grown without 'spraying' them - you don't see factory fumes - it's all greenery, mountains, sun, sea, olives, olive oil etc etc - I mean is there any wonder the english leave Britain cos the Government is always trying to dictate what you do  BangHead BangHead

They'll be trying to dictate your sex life next cos there's not much that they don't dictate to you about these days.  They will be saying - right - you can only have sex once a week/month and you can only drink one glass of beer or wine whatever once a week etc etc BangHead BangHead

Whoops - I'll shut up now - but I suppose you can see why I live in Spain  grin grin

Definitely I see why you have chosen Spain  grin
I'd also choose to live in a country where the industry isn't so much developed and people have more freedom,
I'm not saying there hasn't to be control but not so overdone - in some counties it's just overexposed -  closer to paranoia  Huh?c

but I think fashion is more interesting subject  grin
do you already have any favourite Spanish clothes brands? what do Spaniards usually wear  smiley

SmileyinBox The Spanish clothes I like - well the shop I like is called MNG or also known as MANGO - they have all the latest fashion trends and are also not that expensive.  I have had a lot of clothes from there since I arrived in Spain - but you can't be over a size 12 cos they don't do them any bigger !!  Which is silly really isn't it smiley - So thank god I'm not over size 12  grin  There is another shop I like too but I'm really tired at the moment and can't think of it - so will have another think and let you know  wink

I also like Mango clothes  smiley they have very simple and clear design something I'd go for when I buy clothes and the prices are reasonable  smiley,
but don't know why they don't produce larger size clothes, cos I read that many clothes producers are going to change their measure scale,
they made a research and found that women have increased their measures for the last 20 years and the measures they use
for producing clothes aren't actual at all - women get taller and not as thin as before, about 60% of American women are plump
and most of them have to buy clothes from +size shops  cool

Hi Deco Wink - In England they have shops call 'Evans' which are all for the 'fuller figure' - but even what I call 'normal' shops, like Next, M & S, Dorothy Perkins etc all cater for probably up to about an 18 or something.

Oh - I've just remembered that other shop its called 'Zara' - have you heard of this too?

Hey - what I would like to know is exactly who they research - cos I don't think they ask the women themselves !!  wink
