SmileyinBox  Well I suppose my summer holidays are in Dublin at the moment !!  As some of you may know my partner goes to work there and well I have to go and see him sometimes there don't I - I can't expect him to keep coming to Spain  wink  Mind you I am there at the moment and the weather is absolutely gorgeous - I thought I was in Spain !!  I think living in Spain is almost like being on a permanent holiday, with the weather, plenty of places to see and do, beaches, cheap booze, ciggies etc etc  grin cool Cheesy

SmileyinBox Hi Deco - unfortunately, they haven't put Ken on the internet on his laptop at the moment  CryBaby so haven't been able to do the work I have wanted to get done.  BangHead  So I have come into Ken's work this afternoon to have a look on my emails.  I am sat at Ken's desk in his office at the hospital at the moment while he is in a meeting.  So if they don't get his laptop at home sorted I shall come into his work again next week for the day  smiley  I haven't had much time today but hopefully will get longer next week !!.

I have spent three days shopping instead - yes I like shopping but EVEN ME can only do so much  Wink  I have bought a lot of clothes and some new things for the apartment to make it look nice  smiley

We haven't been out much at night cos I've been too tired from all the shopping !!  wink wink but we are going out for a drink tonight.  On Saturday night we are going to see 'Tomatito' who is a famous Spanish gypsy/flamenco guitarist (it's funny that I live in Spain and never seen or heard of him before isn't it and to say that I come to Dublin to see him !!)  Ken booked it for us at the Dublin Concert Hall - so looking forward to that and then Ken has found us somewhere to go dancing - which we will be doing after the concert.

Friday night we are going to have a night out - not sure where yet though and then on Sunday we are going out with his Finance Director and his wife for a meal.  And.... next week we are going one night with his Chief Executive and his wife for a meal.

Anyway I hope you are alright.  I will get round to that email to you cos I have lots of news to tell you but I have to go in a little while but when I come into the office again next week - I will do it then  wink  so forgive me for taking a while  wink

you've bought and what the fashion trends in Dublin are?  wink
wish you a nice time there and look forward to hearing from you when you have a time again  smiley

SmileyinBox Hi everyone just thought I would say that when I was in Dublin and buying all the clothes etc - really their fashions I would put on par with England cos they have the same shops like 'Coast', Jane Norman, Miss Selfridge, Top Shop, Marks and Spencer etc etc - so although they might have one or two different styles to England - they are very much the same.  Which in one sense is quite good but it is nice to go in shops that are just that bit more 'exclusive' or 'different' but I didn't really see any of these.

To be honest with you I like lots and lots of different styles and colours and just wondered what you all think about these 'raggy' clothes that are in fashion too at the moment!!

Well needless to say I have got a few myself cos I think they are different and I like different  wink

Well I think there is some kind of charm in those raggy clothes  smiley, although I'm not a fan of that style,
cos it's one thing to have ragged jeans for example but all these frayed tops, jackets and rumpled skirts, no thanks  Huh?c

I know fashion trends change and it's an influence from the street fashion, but I'm more traditional person regarding the clothes I wear  cool

SmileyinBox Well ! - after yet another shopping spree in Dublin - just come back again and going again on the 7th Dec.  Although this time I did manage to get in some xmas shopping!

The clothes this time had changed - obviously now cos its winter-time.  I bought 3 or 4 of those long 'jumper/dresses' which you can either wear with black tights/trousers or leggings.  Does anyone else like these?  The ones I bought were from Jane Norman, Oasis and Warehouse.  I also bought some black and grey leggings and some new trousers etc.

Xmas pressies for Kelly(my daughter) at the mo:-  She is wanting to decorate Dan's (my grandson) bedroom - we have decided to do it in 'Outer Space' style (which I will tell you about on another post - when we get round to decorating it! - hopefully before Xmas) so I managed to get him 4 sets of single quilt covers and pillowcases (cos he has two single beds in his room) and two sets are in dark and pale blue with Stars all over them and the other two sets have spaceships and planets on.  So I think they should like nice once we do everything else?

Kelly also wanted some white voile for her bedroom windows - so I've got to make that into curtains for her.  She bought some 'dangly' bits (don't know what you call them) but they are to go over the voile - not sure if I will get this done before Xmas though but if I do I will post some piccies etc.

I also bought her some nice lacy underwear and her main present is a bracelet from Swarovsky - they have some lovely jewellry - has anyone been in their shop?  They are very well known - for their Swarovsky Crystals!

Well who is going to tell me where they have been for their holidays or what they have been buying lately - especially with Xmas coming up!  grin
