Many women love going to a hairdresser frequently and prefer every time to change their hair-style and hair colour
following the last fashionable hairdo trends. Sometimes it works, but other time doesn't Shocked and we don't look like
the model from the fashion magazine smiley
How about you? Do you have your own preferable hair style or when you go to a hairdresser
you leave your hair in their professional hands relying on their judgement what will be suitable to you smiley

smiley Well - I will try again with this post but perhaps not as long as yesterdays :'(  A lot of the time I cut and colour my own hair - only visiting the hairdressers when necessary i.e. the back gets a little out of control cos I can't reach the back too well - so I tend to go to the hairdressers probably about every 6-8 weeks.  I wear my hair short cos I think it suits older ladies better than long hair which on older ladies it doesn't normally look that good.  I think you can look younger with shorter hair as you get older  wink

I have had highlights etc  done by the hairdressers but now you can even buy L'Oreal colour wherein you put the base coat on then you mix another colour and put your own highlights in  ;D  In fact this morning I did just that.  No doubt my visitor/friend who is coming tomorrow will tell me if it looks OK or not - but I think it looks quite good  :D

In fact I have been a model for a hairdresser in my younger days - the hairdresser was called Keith Hall - a very popular hairdressers in Nottingham but he has shops all over the place.  If anyone would like to look at a photo or two then please tell me cos I still have two or three  ;D  In fact I also used to model clothes but I will talk about this sometime in the correct post  wink

I don't have lots of styles cos with short hair you can't have many  :'( but I have the style to which I think suits me and people always say how nice it looks.  As regards the colour I do experiment with different colours but onlys different browns i.e. light/dark and auburns/reddy colours.  I have had my hair blonde once when I was about 17 but I'm too old now to go those sort of colours - I like it more natural looking. Oh and I'm not what you call a 'fashion icon' - I WISH !!  8)

Would love to hear from others who like different styles/colours or whatever - so come on you lot and get posting  Kiss

Oh that's very interesting, Denise smiley I didn't know you've been a model for a hairdresser
but I had the 'suspicion' that you've been a clothes model, because you are from those people
who keep their body always in a good shape wink

My hair has had many different 'transformations' from very short to quite long,
I'm natural Blonde but I once tried and made my hair almost white  Shocked
Wouldn't try it again cos I think it harms hair a lot, when I was 17 I had my hair curled
but I must say that attempt was a full disaster  :D
Now I go to the hairdresser once a month mainly when I need hair cut but I have noticed
that when the summer is coming I always tempt to change my hair-style smiley don't know what's going to be this year  Roll Eyes
