What do you think about jewellery for men?
Do you like it, do you think a wedding ring and a watch is enough or is there more to it?
What about earrings for men, necklaces, bracelets and all the other wonderful options jewellery holds for women? I think it is sad, that men don't were more jewellery - be it, because it is "strange", not normal or that the options are rather dim...

Is there jewellery for men you really like?

Interesting subject smiley
well... to be honest I personally don't like men "overloaded" with jewellery smiley for example
heavy gold chains and massive rings and bracelets  Shocked but I think there are many stylish things that men can buy/wear,
the classic men's jewellery is a perfect complement to the men's look.

The thing I really don't like seeing is men that have piercing  Huh?c all these earrings on strange places
look a quite odd to me, I may sound a bit conservative but it's just my point of view. smiley
I my opinion men should be more moderate choosing jewellery/ accessories
except if they don't want to look like members of heavy metal band smiley

 GrinAngel Hey Deco,

I am not into heavy gold chains either. Like always "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder"  cool

Where I would like to have "male fashion emancipation" is concerning the "classy" style, starting in offices up to your bank clerk. As a woman I have some nice variety concerning my work outfit. But men's wear - ain't that boring  Toothy12
I would like to see nice necklaces on men, maybe a bracelet (not leather), interesting rings- more creativity, more variety. Cuff links and tie bars seem the only means at the moment... And at the moment I see a lot of colourful scarves (wollen scarves) in offices on "male fashionistas". But still my eye longs for more variety, uniqueness, individualism...

Well men's wear is sometimes boring but it all depends on the imagination and creativity of each one man,
the problem is that most of the men don't care too much what they wear  cool,
I'm not saying I like too "foppish" men's style but I don't mind seeing well-dressed men  grin
I know most of the men rely on their better halves regarding their wardrobe but don't think that's the right way. smiley
Would agree with you "more variety, uniqueness, individualism" that's the thing I would like to see as well smiley

 Wink

... it all depends on the imagination and creativity of each one man ....

And I guess it needs quite a bit of "guts" to try something different.
I think it is just "easier" this way.

Interesting discussion Ladies smiley
Well, as a man I always find three things as a Men's Jewellery that are completely enough :
Watch (boring classic smiley I hardly bear with something like that on my hands but it's another question:) );
Glasses or sun glasses;
Mobile phone (yep, it's a Jewellery accessory already smiley )
Too many women dress like men and too many men dress like women so there should be some "border"
at least in the Jewellery wink

Nice to hear also and men's opinion on the subject  grin
Would agree with you Art that these three things you mentioned can really give a feshionable
look to each one man although it's a bit limited view smiley of course not all men like jewellery so it's up to
the personal preferations smiley

Too many women dress like men and too many men dress like women so there should be some "border"

Suppose it's just a part of the fashion evolution  smiley
few centuries ago trousers were only a part of the men's wardrobe smiley
but nowadays some women prefer them even more than dresses and skirts.
Well.. I can't say the same for the men that have femine fashion preferneces
it's just a different subject  Toothy12

Hey Art,

Great to hear your point!
So how does your men's watch, men's sunglasses and men's mobile look like?  cool

I don't mind people crossing borders or frontiers, be it in fashion, culture, real life etc. Yet, I totally have a non-girly carrier, maybe that is why.  Toothy12

By the way... the biography of Lenoardo da Vinci, I just read with my daugther - back in his days pink was the colour for tunicas for the established. See, what culture can do to fashion.
