How to post "normal" posts

Hello to the forum administrators and mods!

If I want to post a new posting, open up a new thread - I only find the option to add a new poll... How could I just start a new post?
Please help!

Sorry for the trouble with posting a new thread
The new members on Fashionchat forums are not allowed to post a new
thread until they reach 10 posts, this was done because recently
we have had too many attempts from new members to post SPAM threads
with not allowed links.

I have corrected both of the threads you posted ie changing them
from new poll to a new standard thread. As I see you only need one
more post to be able to open a standard new thread

I apologize for the inconvenience. Deco is right - you need at least 10 posts to create a new topic.
This reminds me that we should add this to the forum rules.

i just wondered...

I can imagine that SPAM is a tough problem you have to tackle - and you are doing a great job! I definitely prefer forums that are restricted, have lesser postings - than forums that are completelly stuffed with advertising and "strange" postings, where you can't find the real discussions in between.
I definitely enjoy the discusssion culture you do establish!
