Oh you're naughty girl Denise ;D
Obviously when it's cold in Spain, swimming isn't very advisable
so you focus on the other two words

Whoops
I meant 'Art' - all these names are going round my head - it's confusing
Hmmm ...... I bet you already know this little word - don't you ?
You're spot on there Deco -
Mind you - now Ken spends most of his time in Dublin - I'm going to have to find something else
perhaps all this up and down in the 'jack in box' will do it

Hi Lulu - I wouldn't say I was a sport fan neither really - so what do you enjoy doing then?

As I am an internet-person and sit a lot it try to do a lot of walks or take the bicycle (instead iof taking the car everywhere) and I really love yoga - "refreshes" the whole system and you get to use muscles you never dreamed of...

Hi MiaDeRoca and wecome to Fashionchat forums
Hope you'll enjoy your stay here.
Suppose you spend many hours a day on the computer and that's one of the bad
things about computers - you just don't realize how the time flies.
I love walking as well, probably this and doing a house work are the only two exercises I do
can't say I'm into sports at all

Exactly thats the problem, you sit for hours and - highly concentradted you hardly move (well except of your fingers). I used to take the bike in former times, but as the family grew (and the number of cars...), the time-budget is getting less and I am getting lazy. The great thing about Yoga - you can do it everywhere. I do some exercises before important phone calls or when I realize that I am tired. My only regular walks are those from my chair to the espresso machine
I love sports when they come "naturally": walking up the mountain to a nice viewpoint, swimming to cool down, some badminton together with friends... or the fun things like skiing or taking the toboggan. I like wintersports, but together with family and friends!

Well at least it's some kind of exercise
Haven't tried yoga but I've read it's very useful for breathing and all muscles
Suppose you've got plenty of snow in Austria now (if I'm not wrong you live there) which is
the perfect thing for winter sports.
BTW Austria is a wonderful country with amazing nature, had the chance to visit it and would do again
but for a longer winter holiday some of the next years

What I like about Yoga (at least the Hatha Yoga I practice) is that you do one Asana ("movement") and do another one to stretch other parts. It is not only one region you work on, but the whole system. It is also perfect for me as i am having asthma.
Austria is perfect for winter sports
We had some new snow today and i hope i find time to get my daugter and the tobogan and be outside for some time.
Austria is also nice in the summer, close to Salzburg are several lakes and i love swimming. You can also hike, there is a lot to see and the landscape and buildings (from medieval to modern) are beautiful.
Where have you been to in Austria?

There are really many interesting places to visit in Austria
I only crossed the country because it was a part of my European trip
Because I didn't have enough time I only visited two cities Volkermarkt and Klagenfurt
and stayed in a wonderful hotel in Klagenfurt for a night
really nice place
.
The nature was amazing cos it was the end of March and there was still snow in the Alps which
we had to travel through
I'm sure Ausrtria is also nice in the summer because it's a green country and I have the impression
that Austrians definitely know how to attract tourists
Have a nice holidays and enjoy your time with your family

Deco - where do you come from "trip to Europe" that sound US-American????
The southern parts of Austria have their beauty - yet I think I have never stopped in Volkermarkt (only passed by
)
On short trips many tourists choose between Viena, Salzburg or Innsbruck... but there are of course many beautiful places and interesting things in between. And yes, I love the Alps!
I try to live in several places, but if there are no mountains close, something is lacking
(yet I guess I could handle New York, although no peaks are in view
)
Tourism is a big part in Austria, and we are really lucky that the countryside is so beautiful and that this country had many cultural interesting ancestors.
We already had our trip to a snowy hill close to our home. Winter is great fun!
Nice holidays to you too!
